James&Co is starting a crowdfunding campaign on the StartSomeGood platform on 17 January 2020 called 'Grow James&Co To Help Rid Toxic Faux Leather'. We aim to get out the message that faux leather/vegan leather outerwear made in traditional PU - which accounts for basically all such outerwear except for James&Co - is harmful to the environment and there are now alternative fabrics for leather look outerwear that are sustainable.
A large retail fashion brand now requires its suppliers to use sustainable polyurethane in its faux/vegan leather products. Not traditional polyurethane. James&Co switched to the eco option in 2018. And you can help us spread the sustainable choice even further with a donation to our crowdfunding campaign.
