SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

We aim to be the showcase business for sustainability and environmental health and safety (EHS) responsibility in what we do and how we do it in our field of eco lether™ wear.

Our Good Business Journey

James&Co started business in 2012 as Peta-approved Vegan brand for womens' outerwear. With the growing global emphasis on sustainability and climate change and with the knowledge that the fashion industry is the world's 2nd largest waste creator, we made the pivot in 2018 to embrace the new innovative textiles coming onto market. And put cruelty-free sustainability at the core of our business.

Our business is founded on the dual objectives of achieving the purposes for whhich it was founded and embraced - vegan to sustainable vegan outerwear - and being a profitable business.

We have a Supplier Code of Conduct to which all our manufacturers must be, and are, subscribed. We are so fortunate for the quality and the ethics of our manufacturers and suppliers.

We have a Sustainability Policy that sets out our environmental and social goals. They are measurable. And they are aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

We have set ourselves Sustainable Development Goals to be met by, and report on by, End Of Year 2021.

We embody the PETA ethic that animals are not ours to experiment on, eat, wear, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way.

Trust and integrity is crucial to our brand. Independent verifications support our commitment to improved social and environmental impacts.
