Soften and Clean A Washable Paper Bag

A James&Co sustainable washable paper bag will soften over time, with usage, with cleaning and washing.

It can be cared for and cleaned as needed by washing and air-drying.

If a washable paper bag feels a bit stiff before usage, it can also be soften by washing and air-drying.

• washing can be by hand or washing machine
• before overall wash, gently clean any spots with a soft brush or sponge
• to machine, cold or low temperature water with mild detergent.  By handwash, soak the item for 30-60 minutes in tepid water with a small amount of dish soap, then rinse
• pat the product dry with a tea towel or soft cloth
• while damp, crinkle it to give it the leather-look and re-shape the bag
• let it air dry completely
